NEW WORK: ‘Forever Ford’ - Narrator Guy Pearce. This was a special opportunity, it’s not often you get to celebrate 100 years together. For the people of Geelong, the Cats and Ford are the backbone of the city. So to tell the story of their partnership, one of the only 3 in the world to go longer than a century, was a real treat. I loved bombing around Geelong, filming fans, classic cars and the town. A super fun, stripped back & fast moving team meant we got to cover a lot of ground and capture some incredible moments. A huge thank you to the simple epic team at the Cats for inviting me on board for this one and pitching in all sorts of ways to make it happen. One year on & with the AO in full swing, it’s time to celebrate a unique project from ‘24. Out of all the work I did last year, this one resonated the most with people. When I’ve been out doing meet and greets, many people tell me how much they loved this film (and saw it, which really matters). Awards aren’t the be and end-all of recognising outstanding work, but when the accolades stack up, you know you have been a part of a project that connects with people meaningfully. NEW WORK: Reclaim the Game Had loads of fun with this one, we wanted to evolve an ongoing series with a serious message in an often filmed location. Had some help from some weapons to create a look that went beyond the expected especially @jackshepherd___ , @editbykel and @marcus.friedlander. Also my first project with the lovely @infinity.squared team - much love to @erinmcbean and @nickmutt. And it was also great to be reunited with @mircoguidon now in his new @shapinglight.au era.
